Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is in a convenient location close to the city center and attractions, making it ideal for exploring Inverness and the surrounding areas. However, noise from hotel equipment could disturb your sleep. The rooms are small but clean, though some maintenance issues like rusty nails could be off-putting. The dining experience is overpriced, and the breakfast delivery in a paper bag is not the most satisfying. Service levels vary, with long waits due to busy staff multitasking between different roles.
My stay at the hotel was a bit disappointing. The rooms could have done with more clothes storage, didn't feel fresh or clean. There were marks on towels, carpets were not clean at all, and the room was not suitable for 3 adults. There was nowhere to hang wet towels, and I had to keep the bathroom door closed so it wouldn't set off the alarm. Overall, it wasn't value for money, and I won't be returning.
The hotel had great staff and facilities, but the rooms were too hot that the fire alarm went off at night due to the heat. I found the annoying noise disturbing and missed having a fridge for drinks.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel; the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. However, the dining experience left something to be desired with limited breakfast options. The location was convenient, but there were additional costs for traveling into town. Overall, it was a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel's location is not ideal, being on a dual carriageway far from amenities, but the staff is very nice. The dining experience is lacking in options and quality. The rooms smell of stale cigarette smoke on arrival and are small for 3 adults, with poor views onto a tarred roof exacerbating the heat. Despite these downsides, the beauty therapist and treatments are commendable.
The hotel was conveniently located next to the lift shaft with a lot of passing traffic, making it less peaceful than expected. The room could benefit from fresh paint and bathroom re-sealing, feeling a bit small for the price paid. The staff, however, were exceptionally kind and professional, making our stay pleasant despite the room shortcomings.
The hotel was tastefully decorated and warm, which is always a bonus in Scotland, but the rooms were not clean enough with handprints on the windows and spill marks on the wardrobe doors. Additionally, the room was too small for the price paid, over £150 per night, and lacked a comfortable bed. The lack of included breakfast and the high additional cost of £11 was disappointing.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room came with convenient amenities like tea-making facilities, an iron, and a hairdryer, but it was not well cleaned and was quite small and noisy. The service was friendly and very helpful, although there was an issue with the cleanliness of the room that was quickly resolved. The location was good for getting into central Inverness but a bit out of town, although accessible by bus. The dining experience was disappointing with a limited breakfast offering. Overall, the hotel offered a decent stay with a few drawbacks.
